Calico enhancements
- Calico v3.8.1 is out and here is why you should install or update your Calico instance:
- With this release, we have updated our underlying Kubernetes client components to 1.28.12, which mitigates the new CVEs that targeted the old versions of libraries inside the container.
- We also updated the bpftools that comes with Calico container to allow better resource utilization for XDP programs in all distros.
- Our community member @ialidzhikov added enhancements to the CNI installation steps to improve the binary verification process.
